About The Position

Resurrection has an opening for an Experience Project Manager in the Resurrection Experience division! The position is full-time, non-exempt and is located at the Leawood campus at 13720 Roe Ave. The Experience Project Manager manages creative content for projects and events (e.g., curriculum, promotional materials, videos, downloadable resources, marketing collateral, print pieces) from start to finish for use in online and in-person ministry. As part of the Resurrection Experience team, they serve as the essential liaison for various ministries and locations, interfacing directly with the ministry leader, shepherding projects through the stages of development. This position partners with content contributors (e.g., pastors, staff, volunteers, and contractors) vendors and Resurrection Experience teammates to ensure projects move successfully from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • Proven results in delivering client-focused and/or congregant-focused solutions to meet needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Suite
  • 2+ years in management and leadership, including the coordination of complex, large-scale projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned ministries and locations on creative projects and events, from ideation and design concept development, planning, support through execution and delivery, debriefing, and evaluation.
  • Schedule and facilitate Project Strategy Plan with ministry to learn the scope of the project, identifying the content needs.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of project deliverables including, video support, graphic design, technical support, web design, print, promotional materials, communication requests, etc. to accomplish ministry needs and objectives guaranteeing success of the project.
  • Shepherd all aspects of the project process, including appropriate aspects of writing, compilation, drafting, approval, publication, distribution, vendor bids.
  • Manage project timelines to foster timeline accountability for contributors.
  • Coordinate registration process with ministry.
  • Communicate progress updates to stakeholders utilizing weekly status update report.
  • Coordinate with marketing and client ministry in the management of participant database providing support for participant communication and follow-up of the experience.
  • Assist with ministry and contributor issue escalations and unforeseen problems, as needed.
  • Ensure adherence with church policies and standard practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
