About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Project Manager, Technical Management to join our A220 Upgrades team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Airbus Engineering Data Provisioning Services (EDPS) team based In Hamburg. You will be part of the A220 Upgrades team responsible for securing A220 competitiveness and customer satisfaction by providing optional in-service modifications covering cabin, airframe, avionics and connectivity. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively. Your role as Project Manager, Technical Management will be to secure customer satisfaction, protect Airbus Intellectual Property, and continuously improve EDPS process.

Requirements

  • You hold a bachelor degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent, an MBA is an asset
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of Type Certificate and/or Supplemental Type Certificate
  • Strong leadership skills in line with the Airbus leadership model
  • Strong knowledge on business management processes and best practices
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Customer Support, Program or Project management in the aerospace industry
  • Strong analytical skills, planning, problem solving, and good interpersonal skills
  • Open mind and a great ability to work as a team player
  • Ability to manage a team of Subject Matter experts from multiple teams to ensure collaboration and engagements
  • Excellent communication skills in English & French

Responsibilities

  • Support third party Design Approval Organization on technical and engineering data requests
  • Assess feasibility and availability with Chief Engineering and Procurement groups
  • Evaluate the value/price of the data release
  • Coordinate data licensing agreements
  • Support engineering data and configuration management
  • Support data delivery process and protection of Airbus Intellectual Property
  • Manage, control and continuously improve the EDPS process
  • Monitor and control the in-service design evolution
  • Manages risks and opportunities and implements mitigation actions when required
