About The Position

The Project Manager - Strategic Business Planning position plays a vital role in identifying, planning, and supporting new business opportunities, requiring strong capabilities in financial planning, business analysis, project coordination, and account support. The ideal candidate will contribute to key initiatives through data analysis, assisting with client relationship development, and supporting project execution across the team. Experience in freight forwarding, business planning, or sales is highly preferred. The role supports the business development team by providing basic financial and business analysis, coordinating projects, and assisting in the implementation of strategic initiatives. This position will also help develop strategies that strengthen client relationships, expand market presence, and support the execution of key initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience in Logistics/Transportation Industries
  • Experience in Financial Analysis and Business Planning
  • Experience in Account Management
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 6 - 9 years of Direct Experience in Business Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Freight Forwarding

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in freight forwarding, business planning, or sales is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual in Korean
  • 7 - 11 years of Direct Experience in Business Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Freight Forwarding
  • Experience in Healthcare Logistics

Responsibilities

  • Support Hyundai business development by reviewing current logistics operations to identify potential business opportunities for Hyundai Motor Group and its partners.
  • Collaborate with HMG, Glovis internal teams, and external partners on strategic initiatives, including market research, operational planning, financial summaries, and client management.
  • Contribute to hydrogen logistics activities by conducting feasibility analyses for expansion opportunities and developing mid- to long-term business and operational plans.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Track and monitor sales progress and ensure timely follow-up with internal teams.
  • Support the sales cycle by preparing presentation materials, drafting proposals, and coordinating negotiations and closing activities.
  • Conduct urgent ad-hoc projects as requested by top management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
