About The Position

Southland has an opportunity for a Project Manager to work on exciting, commercial MEP projects, while developing future project managers and leaders. In this role, you will manage construction projects, mentor others, and be passionate about safety.

Requirements

Proven ability to manage small teams
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong financial acumen
Excellent project management skills
Experience managing subcontractors
Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
Minimum 5 years' experience
Active Top Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

Develops client relations by providing project status updates to client and leadership.
Managed budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for project.
Participates in project meetings with internal departments.
Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project is on schedule.
Develops budget analysis reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders and other report as necessary.
Delegates work and serves as mentor to Project Engineers.
Provides coaching and performance feedback as necessary.
