About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting seasoned, highly skilled Project Managers to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this field-driven residential construction leadership role. This position requires a hands-on operator who thrives in the field, owns projects end-to-end, and builds strong relationships with homeowners and subcontractors. Candidates with jumpy or inconsistent work history will not be accepted or interviewed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Project Management experience in construction or skilled trades (required)
  • Proven client-facing experience with strong customer service skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors or vendors directly
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments
  • Self-managed with high accountability and ownership
  • Stable and consistent employment history
  • Project Manager with skilled trades or residential construction background
  • Strong relationship builder comfortable working directly with homeowners
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field operations
  • High ownership mentality with accountability for outcomes
  • Comfortable spending majority of time in the field
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused
  • Stable and consistent employment history

Nice To Haves

  • Residential construction experience (preferred over commercial)
  • Background in skilled trades (roofing, siding, HVAC, flooring, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with project documentation or field tools (e.g., CompanyCam)
  • Exposure to estimating tools or cost tracking systems
  • PMs from roofing, siding, HVAC, flooring, or similar trades
  • Candidates who have managed multiple concurrent field projects
  • Individuals who thrive in autonomy and performance-driven environments
  • Candidates motivated by growth and performance-based earnings

Responsibilities

  • Own residential projects from contract execution through final completion
  • Coordinate schedules between homeowners and subcontractors to maintain timelines
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage subcontractor relationships
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare clients for project kickoff, setting expectations and timelines
  • Maintain organized documentation across all project elements
  • Proactively resolve issues to maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Spend the majority of time in the field overseeing active job sites
