About The Position

Deacon Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong public works background to join their Sacramento team. The role requires close collaboration with the Superintendent, owners, inspectors, architects, and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager will represent Deacon professionally and take ownership of their projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor management.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder — comfortable working directly with public agency owners, inspectors, and design teams.
  • Proficiency in Procore or similar project management platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
