Project Manager/Project Engineer
About The Position
BECI is seeking a Project Manager or Project Engineer to join their team in the Tampa, FL market. This position is considered local, but out-of-market travel will be required on occasion for training and to support other branches/markets. Previous Building Enclosure experience is a plus, but the company offers training. The role involves assisting with troubleshooting building envelope issues, going onsite to construction sites for support and quality analysis, producing reports, assisting with construction specifications, and providing technical support. The position also requires attending trade shows, seminars, and educational programs for professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (engineering/construction management) or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Building Enclosure experience
- IIBEC credentials (RRC, RRO, RWC, or REWC)
- EIT certificate
Responsibilities
- Assisting with troubleshooting building envelope issues.
- Going onsite to construction sites to provide support and quality analysis.
- Producing reports based on investigations.
- Assisting with the preparation of construction specifications.
- Providing technical support to staff, as required.
- Attending trade shows, seminars and educational programs to keep abreast of industry trends and ensure continued professional development.
