About The Position

BECI is seeking a Project Manager or Project Engineer to join their team in the Destin, FL market. This position is considered local, but out-of-market travel may be required occasionally for training and to support other branches/markets. The company is willing to train individuals without prior Building Enclosure experience. The role involves assisting with building envelope issues, conducting site visits for support and quality analysis, producing investigation reports, aiding in the preparation of construction specifications, and providing technical support to staff. The position also requires attending industry events for professional development and staying updated on trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (engineering/construction management) or equivalent experience in the construction industry.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Building Enclosure experience is a plus.
• IIBEC credentials (RRC, RRO, RWC, or REWC), or EIT certificate a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with troubleshooting building envelope issues.
• Going onsite to construction sites to provide support and quality analysis.
• Producing reports based on investigations.
• Assisting with the preparation of construction specifications.
• Providing technical support to staff, as required.
• Attending trade shows, seminars and educational programs to keep abreast of industry trends and ensure continued professional development.
