About The Position

We’re looking for a Project Manager, Professional Services, to lead the successful delivery of complex software implementations for Kuali customers. This role is responsible for managing implementation projects from kickoff through go-live, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations. This is a remote individual contributor role. As a Project Manager, you'll partner closely with customers and internal teams to coordinate project activities, manage timelines, facilitate communication, identify risks, and keep implementations moving forward. You'll play a key role in creating a positive customer experience while helping customers successfully adopt Kuali solutions. Kuali builds software solutions for higher education. Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering SaaS software implementations or other complex customer-facing projects.
  • Managing multiple concurrent implementation projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Building project plans, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating customer communications.
  • Working with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Experience implementing enterprise software, preferably within higher education, ERP, finance, research administration, or other administrative systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms for meeting preparation, documentation, and project organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple customer implementation projects from kickoff through successful go-live.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and action items.
  • Coordinate project activities across customers, Professional Services consultants, Product, Support, and other internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary project contact for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively communicate status updates and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate recurring project meetings, document action items, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and customer expectations while helping resolve day-to-day implementation challenges.
  • Coordinate customer readiness activities, including training schedules, testing, and go-live planning.
  • Escalate project issues appropriately while working collaboratively to drive timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status reporting.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve implementation processes, templates, and delivery best practices.
