As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for full cycle project management of high-quality, financially successful new installations. You will collaborate with sales representatives, field superintendents and customers to meet specifications and resolve technical issues. This role involves overseeing new installation projects to ensure efficient, profitable close-out, providing approved submittals and ensuring timely delivery of materials from vendors. You will collaborate with the Field Superintendents to monitor job progress and address potential delays with action plans, and partner with Engineering and local & regional management for successful completion of the project. You will also maintain vendor relationships and assist with monthly forecasting and budget planning, and identify change notice opportunities, prepare paperwork, and secure customer approvals before work begins. Additionally, you will manage project revenue, size, and adherence to fulfillment guidelines, and ensure timely invoicing, targeting 90% payment prior to elevator turnover. Establishing and maintaining critical customer relationships to support project success is key, as is submitting certified payroll, including tracking worker hours, wages, and fringe benefits in accordance with prevailing wage laws. You will also ensure compliance with customer and Schindler requirements for quality, performance, and passenger safety.
