About The Position

We are seeking an Assistant Project Lead EI to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the execution of service, maintenance, and repair tasks for elevators, escalators, and moving walks. This includes coordinating administrative tasks, communicating with team members, and ensuring that certain elements of the project are executed according to plan. You will coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring project activities are aligned with schedules and deliverables. This position offers a unique learning opportunity, providing knowledge of Schindler’s products, services, and fulfillment standards through live classroom trainings, field experience, and self-study learning platforms. You will also participate in a three-day in-person onboarding training focused on Existing Installations (EI) tools and processes, and gain hands-on experience in a corporate setting by developing skills in data entry, office software, and teamwork while supporting key business operations in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
  • 0-1 years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
  • Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring project activities are aligned with schedules and deliverables.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates on project status to management and conduct regular progress meetings to discuss any issues which may affect KPI’s.
  • Schedule work to address open violations, verifying that sales proposals are signed before work begins.
  • Coordinate all internal/external testing requirements based upon local codes.
  • Help manage resources such as time and materials to ensure project efficiency and complete work assignments.
  • Ensure that Project Documentation, such as meeting notes, progress reports and updates is maintained accurately.
  • Process fees/penalties, including parking tickets, local government authority fees, permits and regulatory paperwork.
  • Serve as a point of contact for team members, stakeholders or customers to address inquiries or direct them to appropriate personnel.
  • Answer telephone calls, convey messages, and monitor the flow of e-mail within the field operations to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.
