About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in managing Networking, Infrastructure, and Telecom related projects. This is a long-term contract role, starting with 6 months and potential to extend through the end of the year. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence every Friday for in-person meetings and other days during the week as needed. The projects involve significant network and infrastructure upgrades, including Cisco Network and Fiber Refresh for LAUSD and Aruba AP Deployment in Montebello.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience managing large Networking, Infrastructure, Telecom projects (network hardware, WLAN/LAN, fiber optic and digital cabling, phone & camera system installations).
• Experience working with school districts K-12 and/or SLED management.
• Experience using PM tools like Smartsheets, Excel, and Sharepoint.
• Excellent communication skills, client-facing abilities, hyper-communicative, detail-oriented, organized, and hard-working.

Nice To Haves

• Scrum Master certification.
• CCNA certification.
• CCNP certification.
• Experience with Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).
• Experience with "Land - CCTV - PA - Intrusion" systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage Networking, Infrastructure, and Telecom related projects (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, wireless access points, phone systems, camera systems, etc.).
• Oversee Cisco Network and Fiber Refresh projects, including Cisco Switches, Cores, Wireless Controllers, and APs.
• Manage Aruba AP Deployment projects, including Aruba Switches, APs, and Controllers.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, external clients, and vendors on time-sensitive initiatives.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Utilize PM tools like Smartsheets, Excel, and Sharepoint for project tracking and reporting.
