About The Position

Anyon Systems is a leading quantum technology company based in the Greater Montreal area, specializing in the design and fabrication of superconducting quantum processors. We conduct numerous R&D projects as well as client-driven mandates and are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Montreal office. As a Project Manager (Nanofabrication), you will be responsible for coordinating and executing research and development projects as well as client projects related to quantum computing systems. You will work closely with the physics, nanofabrication, software, and cryogenics teams.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, physics, or a related field
• Experience in managing technological or scientific projects
• Experience working in R&D environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with project management tools
• Experience with Agile / Scrum project management
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Jira
• PMP certification
• Familiarity with industrial applications of AI
• Ability to understand fundamental concepts of quantum physics and effectively communicate with technical experts
• Strong organizational and priority management skills
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Manage R&D projects funded by various agencies
• Coordinate client projects related to quantum computing systems
• Plan, track, and deliver multi-team projects
• Manage budgets and schedules
• Prepare reports for funding agencies and clients
• Facilitate collaboration across interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure rigorous tracking of risks and project deliverables
