The Windsor, Quebec, Canada facility is looking for skilled individuals to fill the position of Project Manager - Engineering. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Chemical, Biotechnological, or other).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing major or multiple projects.
  • Dynamic and autonomous.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Leadership and sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability for rapid assimilation and adaptation in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Proficiency in French and English (both oral and written).

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, and monitor projects, ensuring their alignment with established objectives.
  • Collaborate actively with internal clients to understand their needs, ensure effective communication, and guarantee that projects meet operational expectations.
  • Act as a mobilizing leader by prioritizing communication, engagement, and establishing a climate of trust.
  • Define project objectives, timelines, and budgets, and ensure they are met.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project progress.
  • Identify and manage risks by implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure the smooth and successful execution of projects.
  • Supervise project teams, contractors, and external consultants.
  • Provide technical assistance to operations and maintenance, as well as other plant departments.
  • Identify issues and develop solutions to resolve encountered problems (troubleshooting).
  • Ensure the application of health and safety, environmental, quality, and responsible management standards and policies in all project activities.
