About The Position

The Project Manager / Master Technician is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation process for the company’s daily projects while also performing hands-on service and installation work in the field. This role combines project coordination, subcontractor management, homeowner communication, and technical expertise to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards. This position will assist with minor window warranty repairs, sash installations, service work, and occasional full installations. Candidates with strong installation knowledge and leadership abilities will thrive in this role. Compensation opportunities may include additional pay for completed installations. The Project Manager / Master Technician will also help promote company growth by building strong homeowner relationships and representing the company professionally in surrounding neighborhoods during active projects.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of window installation and service work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation or product-related issues.

  • Previous installation or master technician experience preferred.

  • Sales or canvassing experience is a plus.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift up to 150 pounds when necessary.
  • Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) use.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage subcontractors to ensure proper installation of company products.
  • Oversee daily product load-out and verify job site readiness.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners to provide updates, resolve concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the installation process.
  • Perform minor window warranty repairs and service-related work as needed.
  • Install window sashes and assist with troubleshooting product concerns in the field.
  • Complete occasional installations and support installation crews when necessary.
  • Conduct door-to-door inspections in neighborhoods surrounding active jobs to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
  • Spend time in the field monitoring project progress, addressing issues, and ensuring successful completion.
  • Uphold company reputation through professionalism both online and in person.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Window World products and effectively communicate product information to homeowners.
  • Learn and properly perform product demonstrations when needed.
