About The Position

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating projects within the organization. Additionally, the role involves overseeing project activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects. This role manages projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets. It communicates and coordinates project kick-off with all key stakeholders reviewing project timeline, scope, deliverables, and primary success factor/outcomes. The role identifies opportunities to integrate value-added metrics into the project scope that align with the strategic framework. It collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. The role utilizes advanced project management methodologies and tools to plan, execute, and monitor project activities. It mitigates risks, troubleshoots issues, and provides effective solutions to ensure project success. The role assigns tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and accountability. It identifies potential delays or issues and implements corrective actions. The role acts as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing expectations. It conducts thorough project assessments, including post-implementation reviews, to capture lessons learned and inform continuous improvement. The role provides regular project status updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations. It collaborates with vendors and external partners as needed to achieve project goals. The role mentors and guides junior project management staff, sharing expertise and best practices. It stays abreast of industry trends and project management methodologies to enhance project delivery capabilities. May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned. Occasional business travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Seven (7) plus years of experience in project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges and ensure project success.
  • High level of proficiency and autonomy in project management.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior project management staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders, team members, and external partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
