About The Position

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Innovation Technology Portfolio to join our Data Center of the Future team within the Office of the CTO. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of emerging technology initiatives shaping the future of AI-driven data centers. You will guide innovation initiatives from concept and evaluation through development and delivery, helping translate customer and business needs into prioritized opportunities. Working across global, cross-functional teams, you will provide the structure, visibility, and leadership needed to advance promising technologies and enable informed investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience managing complex technology projects or portfolios from concept through execution.
  • 4+ yrs experience working within software, firmware, hardware, engineering, or R&D environments.
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio governance, Agile methodologies, project planning, risk management, and performance measurement.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional, global teams without direct authority.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate customer and business needs into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Jira or similar project/portfolio management tools.
  • Fluent English required; ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Data center technology experience is preferred.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, or comparable project management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of innovation technology initiatives across the Data Center of the Future team and broader Secure Power and Energy Management organizations.
  • Establish portfolio governance, plans, milestones, dependencies, and decision criteria to support successful execution.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio roadmaps, dashboards, performance metrics, and executive-level reporting.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on strategic alignment, customer value, innovation potential, investment, capacity, risk, and expected business outcomes.
  • Identify and manage portfolio-level risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Provide clear insights, recommendations, and tradeoffs to enable timely leadership decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with technical teams, business leaders, customers, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Apply Agile and traditional project management practices appropriate to innovation and technology development.
