Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is seeking qualified candidates to fill an open Project Manager III - Electric Utility Infrastructure position within its Project Delivery team. This role is primarily responsible for managing electric capital projects aimed at improving system reliability, increasing capacity, or reducing wildfire risk. Projects may encompass transmission, distribution, substation improvements, large customer load requests, and Large Generator Interconnection Agreement (LGIA) projects. A Project Manager III will manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects with medium risk and financial impact, requiring minimal supervision. These projects may involve collaboration with multiple agencies, private sector businesses, and special interest groups. The position initiates projects by securing stakeholder commitments and demonstrating business need and feasibility. It involves leading project teams to define timeframes, project methodologies, and resource allocation. The role also includes developing contractor statements of work, bid documents, and coordinating estimates with stakeholders. Upholding safety compliance standards and promoting a culture of total safety are critical. The role requires conducting business honestly, ethically, and in accordance with core values and the Code of Conduct, ensuring all duties are performed in compliance with regulatory obligations.
