About The Position

The Project Manager II provides overall management direction on complex projects. The role establishes project objectives through planning and budgets, serves as the primary point of contact with the client, and monitors construction and financial activities in collaboration with the Project Team. The position is responsible for project financial results and project safety, including perpetuating the IIF culture. The Project Manager II is expected to perform the role safely, productively, and effectively. Responsibilities include pre-construction, project transition and start-up, cost and schedule management, cash-flow management, staff oversight, client relationships, technical records, construction, safety and risk management, maintaining a safe work environment, and participating in training and certifications. Travel is up to 15%.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of construction experience, or 8 years of construction-related experience.
2 years of experience as a Project Manager I.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-construction duties.
Lead the job transition and start-up process.
Manage project cost and schedule.
Manage cash flow.
Direct and/or oversee staff.
Manage the client relationship.
Manage the generation and submittal of technical records.
Manage the construction process.
Manage project safety and risk-management processes.
Ensure a safe work environment.
Participate in training and certifications.
Establish project objectives through planning and budgets.
Serve as the primary point of contact with the client.
Monitor construction and financial activities in collaboration with the Project Team.
Be responsible for project financial results and safety.
