The Transmission Project Manager I is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of assigned transmission projects, including scope, schedule, and budget. This role oversees a portfolio of projects ranging from $100K to $25M and of varying complexity. Projects may include new transmission line construction, line rebuilds, substation construction, transformer replacements, switchgear replacements, or a combination of these. The Project Manager partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring successful project execution from development through completion while maintaining compliance with safety standards and organizational processes.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
Associate degree from an accredited college or university
Working knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
Demonstrated skills in: Project management
Decision-making and critical thinking
Problem-solving
Risk management
Project leadership
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

Manage assigned transmission projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
Lead project execution of multiple �White� or �Green I� projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix
Transition projects from Development and establish project teams with relevant stakeholders
Coordinate and monitor stakeholder deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
Track, manage, and report on project financials in collaboration with Project Controls
Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution of issues
Conduct site visits as needed to support field operations and project progress
Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including use of proper PPE (fire-retardant clothing, hard hat, EH-rated boots, protective eyewear)
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership
