The Project Manager I independently manages small to moderately complex healthcare design and construction capital projects, primarily in ambulatory and repeatable facility settings. The role is accountable for scope, budget, schedule, quality, and regulatory compliance in alignment with organizational standards. The Project Manager I works with defined oversight for higher-risk decisions and serves as a foundational independent project delivery role within the capital projects organization. The role manages assigned healthcare capital projects from planning through closeout, focusing on standardized and repeatable project types such as ambulatory clinics, tenant improvements, and minor renovations. It develops and manages project scopes, schedules, and budgets according to organizational standards, and coordinates internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to support timely delivery and quality outcomes. The Project Manager I ensures compliance with FGI requirements, infection prevention plans, Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and applicable local, state, and regulatory requirements. It manages procurement activities, consultant agreements, and contractor coordination under established approval thresholds; monitors financial performance, forecasting, change management, and cost controls; and provides routine project reporting and status updates. Risks, scope deviations, and regulatory issues are escalated to senior project leadership as appropriate. The role maintains complete and accurate project documentation in Procore or an equivalent project management system and performs other duties as assigned.
