About The Position

The Project Manager I, within the Design and Construction department, will lead project teams and be responsible for developing, monitoring, and achieving the scope, budget, and schedule of multiple projects of low complexity, or will be part of a larger project team led by another PDC position. This role involves developing, organizing, leading, supporting, and participating in teams, both internally and externally, and acting as the owner's representative in the design and construction process. The Project Manager will also develop and monitor benchmarking and performance indicators, produce and organize project documentation, and set and achieve project goals. Responsibilities include procuring and managing external resources, applying current design, construction, and project management methodologies, collaborating with authorities having jurisdiction, following legal and contractual processes, leveraging technology for project delivery, and incorporating strategic master facility plan information into project development. Additionally, the role involves developing, implementing, and managing design standards, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Health Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Take initiative and works independently but also collaboratively
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and research environment to support effective healthcare and research delivery
