About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Craftsman Apprentice in Vernal, UT. The role involves following standard operating procedures, repair guidelines, and quality standards to ensure a safe and high-quality work environment. Responsibilities include preparing tools, grinding PDC bits and other products, de-brazing PDC drill bits for cutter reclamation, sandblasting, Bondo and painting PDC bits and other products, receiving bits and Drill-n-Reams into company software, and transporting them using cranes or forklifts. The position also requires the use of machine and hand tools, and other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP’s), repair guidelines, and quality standards.
Ensure a safe work environment.
Ensure quality standards are met.
Prep tools to start repair process.
Grind PDC bits and other products.
De-braze PDC drill bits for reclamation of cutters.
Sandblast PDC drill bits and other items.
Bondo and Paint PDC Bits and other products.
Receive bits and/or Drill-n-Reams into company software.
Transport bits and/or Drill-n-Reams utilizing cranes or forklifts.
Use of machine and hand tools.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
