About The Position

The Project Manager I, Advancement Systems will report to the Director, Project Management, and be responsible for directing and managing project work. The PM I will help guide and keep tasks on schedule, within scope, and will utilize different methodologies within the project as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
  • Relevant Experience (2 Years)
  • A driver's license is not required for this position.

  • Prior experience in advancement/development systems or a higher education technology environment.
  • Experience managing project(s) that resulted in providing a new service.
  • Project management experience in IT.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages work breakdown structure (WBS).
  • Develops and updates project plans, including information such as project objectives, technologies, information specifications, and schedules.
  • Prepare project status reports.
  • Establishes and executes project communication plans.
  • Monitors and tracks project milestones and deliverables.
  • Confers with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings related to projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
