About The Position

The Project Manager is an individual contributor position that supports key projects across Global External Affairs (GEA). Responsibilities include building and managing project work plan, dashboard, timeline, approval process, schedules, vendor contracts, budget, and resources for GEA projects. The Project Manager is responsible for driving each project, ensuring deadlines are established and met, appropriate people are engaged, and needed reviews are completed all within budget. As part of our mission to advance scientific rigor and public health standards, you will play a vital role in increasing global access to high-quality medicines through public standards and related programs. USP prioritizes scientific integrity, regulatory excellence, and evidence-based decision-making to ensure health systems worldwide can rely on strong, tested, and globally relevant quality standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. Five years of experience in a project management role will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management.
  • High level of proficiency with office technologies, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and efficiently manage several projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience managing executives – schedules, deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with GEA leadership and colleagues to drive division-led projects to success.
  • Facilitates cross-functional collaboration to ensure optimization of resources and talent to achieve outcomes.
  • Identifies and leverages the right tools and processes for each project.
  • Identifies, manages, and resolves challenges, escalating as needed.
  • Drives project timeline, ensuring deadlines are communicated and met.
  • Captures, shares, and tracks decisions and outcomes, updating team as needed.
  • Supports activities related to the Convention Membership including Member communications, data, and meetings.
