Project Manager, Facilities Management

Lila SciencesCambridge, MA

About The Position

Lila Sciences is expanding its physical footprint and upgrading the facilities that power its research. As Project Manager on the Facilities Management team, you will own the end-to-end delivery of capital projects — from lab buildouts and HVAC upgrades to new site development — that directly enable Lila's scientific operations. Reporting to the Director of Capital Projects, you will manage the full project lifecycle: scoping, planning, budgeting, vendor and contractor management, permitting, and closeout. You will partner closely with scientific, operations, engineering, and EHS teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role sits at the intersection of construction execution and scientific infrastructure. You will bring order and accountability to complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-moving environment where the quality of the facilities directly affects the quality of the science.

  • Demonstrated experience managing vendors, architects, and general contractors across the full project lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, and building systems relevant to technical or laboratory environments
