About The Position

As a Project Manager – Electrical at Zekelman Industries, you will lead the design and execution of NEC-compliant electrical projects valued between $1M and $6M. You’ll ensure quality, safety, and profitability while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting business growth. You’ll work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage schedules, budgets, and overall project delivery. This is a full-time, onsite role that requires regular travel to construction sites across multiple states. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, field-based construction environment and values detail, communication, and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience through an Associate Degree or Trade School Certification
  • 5 or more years of experience managing commercial electrical projects
  • Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Familiarity with Procore, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling tools
  • Skilled in electrical system design and understanding of AHJ approval processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Able to travel regularly to construction sites across multiple states
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Procore Certification, PMP, or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages electrical projects from planning through completion to ensure quality and profitability
  • Develops strong client relationships built on trust, reliability, and open communication
  • Identifies client needs and delivers NEC-compliant solutions that support current and future requirements
  • Oversees scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and daily field activities
  • Leads communication with clients, suppliers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment
  • Coordinates drawing development, load calculations, and submission of required documents to AHJs
  • Supports negotiation with clients and suppliers as needed
  • Ensures all work complies with Z-Modular Power safety and quality standards
  • Promotes ethical practices and consistent project performance
