About The Position

Stefanini Group is looking for a Project Manager - CyberSecurity for a globally recognized company! Our client, a City Government, is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Project Manager for a six-month engagement. The Project Manager provides execution coordination, governance support, risk and dependency tracking, budget and procurement oversight, and executive reporting. The Project Manager does not assume the technical ownership of any security domain; that accountability remains with the assigned City and vendor owners.

Requirements

• A minimum of seven years of program management experience, including five years on cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, or compliance programs in a government or regulated environment
• Working knowledge of NIST CSF 2.0, CIS Controls v8, CISA CPGs, CJIS, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS

Nice To Haves

• Current PMP, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stand up the program operating model within the first 15 days: governance cadence, workstream owners, escalation paths, reporting templates, and the milestone baseline.
• Build and maintain a single Integrated Master Schedule for the FY2027 critical path, with milestones, dependencies, owners, and approval gates.
• Maintain one consolidated RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) reviewed weekly with workstream leads and monthly with the CISO.
• Track budget, procurement, and vendor delivery across the in scope workstreams, and surface blockers to the Office of the CISO.
• Prepare executive reporting and assemble the evidence package for the FY2027 cyber insurance renewal.
• Coordinate, but not perform, the technical execution delivered by City teams, the co-managed SOC, and contracted vendors.
