About The Position

J.F. White’s Mechanical Division offers a variety of mechanical services – including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, process piping, and instrumentation – to public and private clients. The Division’s experience with pumps, building controls, air handling, boiler installations, steam systems and chilled water systems has grown and developed over the past 25 years. The Project Manager (PM) has full responsibility for their entire project. They are responsible for safety, quality, cost, schedule, coordination, and progress of the work. The PM will be the first point of contact for the owner. The PM will be responsible for one or more projects depending on contract amounts and project demand.

Requirements

Minimum of 6+ years of overall experience managing HVAC/Mechanical projects
Demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical piping theory, hot water, chilled water, and drain piping systems
Possess excellent oral presentation and written skills
Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and monitor activities and projects.
Able to work well in a group environment and foster a team approach.
Able to work well and persuade people at all organization levels
Have working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management degree preferred
Knowledge of Primavera P6 Scheduling Software, AutoCAD, and/or Procore is a plus
