About The Position

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) is seeking a highly motivated Concrete Project Manager Co-op to join their team in Richmond Heights for a 6-8 month full-time engagement. As part of the $5B+ ARCO Family of Companies, MCC offers turnkey concrete solutions for projects nationwide. Requirements

Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program
Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

Previous Internship or Co-op construction experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting Project Managers with estimating, including describing project proposals and assigning dollar values.
Assisting with scheduling, creating working timelines for subcontractors/trades.
Attending design meetings with owners and teams to understand design proposals.
Assisting with buyout by sending bid instructions, schedules, and drawings to subcontractors, and evaluating/awarding proposals.
Assisting with permitting by filling out and submitting permit forms with drawings and fees.
Reviewing shop drawings and submittals, communicating with subcontractors regarding material ordering and work commencement.
Assisting with billing, including subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications.
Visiting job sites with the Project Manager to ensure projects are running smoothly.
