About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Manager-CMT to join their team. This role involves developing scopes of work, preparing proposals for construction materials testing on renewable projects, and providing guidance on geotechnical engineering projects. The Project Manager will also prepare construction materials testing reports with professional opinions and practical solutions, manage projects including scope, schedule, budget, and safety, and perform quality reviews of work performed by assigned staff. They will collaborate with local and regional operations to coordinate staff and resources, ensure specifications are followed, and support client relationships to achieve market sector goals. The role also involves assisting leadership in developing business goals and objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering preferred.
  • Five or more years of construction materials testing, or geotechnical engineering experience required, or master’s degree plus 4 years.
  • Previous experience with large scale construction projects.
  • Experience working in a consulting firm required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for construction materials testing on renewable projects and with guidance on geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Prepare construction materials testing reports providing professional opinions and practical solutions, along with other professional documents, under the review of a professional engineer.
  • Manage routine to complex materials testing projects and with guidance, geotechnical engineering projects, including project scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
  • Work independently on specific assignments with senior review.
  • Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects.
  • Work with local leader and other regional operations to effectively coordinate field staff, share resources, and manage workloads.
  • Work with local leader, other engineers and project managers, and field staff to ensure specifications are followed.
  • Work closely with Senior Manager and Senior Engineers to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Assist Senior Manager and other leadership in developing business goals and objectives.
  • Support client relationships to effectively achieve market sector goals and strategies.
