Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of Project Management, progressive leadership, and/or Change Execution experience required.
  • PMP Certification required within 18 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Perform project management tasks under the guidance of highly experienced project or program managers.
  • Manage organizational projects, varying in size and complexity, from small to medium sized initiatives with low to moderate complexity.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that span multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve project goals.
  • Engage with remote staff and collaborate with vendors to achieve assigned project objectives.
  • Lead project discovery activities (e.g. request for proposals, business case development, security risk assessment).
  • Build project plans down to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level, involving team participation.
  • Create detailed schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Address project issues, risks, decisions, and assumptions.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure value realization.
  • Assess benefits against project objectives.
  • Analyze project proposals, considering time frames, funding constraints, and appropriate processes.
  • Ensure project goals align with overall business objectives.
  • Provide leadership throughout the project life cycle.
  • Motivate project team members to achieve excellence.
  • Establish work plans and staffing for project activities, iterations, or phases.
  • Recruit or assign project personnel as needed.
  • Implement a robust project communication plan.
  • Ensure consistency in content and presentation across the organization.
  • Responsible for resource management across all project phases (discovery, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing).
  • Responsible for requesting resources, ensuring availability during necessary project phases, assigning tasks, and monitoring allocated resource hours.
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel.
  • Manage project activities to stay on schedule and within budget.
