Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher
5+ years of Project Management, progressive leadership, and/or Change Execution experience required.
PMP Certification required within 18 months of hire

Responsibilities

Perform project management tasks under the guidance of highly experienced project or program managers.
Manage organizational projects, varying in size and complexity, from small to medium sized initiatives with low to moderate complexity.
Lead cross-functional projects that span multiple business units.
Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve project goals.
Engage with remote staff and collaborate with vendors to achieve assigned project objectives.
Lead project discovery activities (e.g. request for proposals, business case development, security risk assessment).
Build project plans down to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) level, involving team participation.
Create detailed schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Develop and manage project budgets.
Address project issues, risks, decisions, and assumptions.
Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
Monitor project progress to ensure value realization.
Assess benefits against project objectives.
Analyze project proposals, considering time frames, funding constraints, and appropriate processes.
Ensure project goals align with overall business objectives.
Provide leadership throughout the project life cycle.
Motivate project team members to achieve excellence.
Establish work plans and staffing for project activities, iterations, or phases.
Recruit or assign project personnel as needed.
Implement a robust project communication plan.
Ensure consistency in content and presentation across the organization.
Responsible for resource management across all project phases (discovery, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing).
Responsible for requesting resources, ensuring availability during necessary project phases, assigning tasks, and monitoring allocated resource hours.
Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel.
Manage project activities to stay on schedule and within budget.
