About The Position

Shaw Industries is seeking a Project Manager with experience in managing complex projects to deliver company-wide strategic initiatives on a cross-functional basis. Projects will be primarily business transformation but normally have a digital component. This role demands a proactive leader who can navigate and influence at all levels of the organization to achieve exceptional results. In this role, you will execute high quality, predictable and efficient project management and delivery for the enterprise. You will work closely with functional leaders across the company to provide visibility and clarity on execution roadmaps, resource attributions for projects, understand upcoming risks, think creatively to minimize delays, and spearhead cross-functional resolutions. You thrive on providing significant value to Shaw by being a solution provider first, using all resource options available to deliver results quickly and cost-effectively by leveraging internal teams and/or through the use of outsourced expertise. You are highly focused on achieving key milestones and attentive to the details that drive successful outcomes. This role reports to the VP of Business Transformation in the Transformation Management Office and work collaboratively and closely across all areas of the business.

Requirements

B.S. required. Ideally in IT, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
Strong understanding of systems-based thinking (Operational systems, manufacturing systems, etc.).
A proven track record in planning, developing, and delivering large scale initiatives on time and on budget.
Demonstrates a strong sense of accountability, initiative, and responsiveness.

Nice To Haves

Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate. Candidates without current certification must be willing to obtain it within one year of employment.
7+ years of cross-functional project management experience

Navigate diverse stakeholder groups, form and sustain successful partnerships with experts in diverse areas of the business with overlapping and non-overlapping expertise.
Identify risks early on and work diligently with the appropriate subject matter experts to solve or mitigate issues and ensure timely continuation of project deliveries.
Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure great delivery.
