The AMI Project Manager plans, develops, budgets, and directs complex, multi‑year capital projects within MidAmerican Energy Company, with primary responsibility for delivery of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program. This role is responsible for executing projects that are safe, compliant, cost‑effective, and delivered on an accelerated timeline. The position will assume responsibility for critical AMI execution activities, including vendor bid evaluation, business case development, and transition into implementation. Projects may span multiple locations and organizations, involve tens of millions of dollars in capital investment, and require close coordination across Electric Delivery, IT, OT, Metering, Supply Chain, and external vendors. This role is execution‑focused and requires strong ownership, schedule discipline, and cross‑functional leadership to maintain momentum through compressed and highly visible project milestones.
