Warehouse Agent - AMI - Part Time
About The Position
The Warehouse Agent is responsible for various tasks related to cargo handling and warehouse operations. This includes accepting and weighing cargo, accurately recording details in the My AMI system, printing arrival notices, and ensuring compliance with TSA regulations through CCSF certification and cargo screening. The role involves building airline units, managing warehouse supplies, collaborating with operations, and ensuring all cargo is checked in and staged. The agent will also be responsible for maintaining warehouse cleanliness and performing other assigned duties. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required, along with the ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. Passing a pre-employment background check is mandatory.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass pre-employment background check.
- Certified fork lift operator.
- Able to lift 50 lbs+.
Responsibilities
- Accepting cargo with cargo acceptance sheets.
- Weighing cargo and accurately recording weight and dimensions in the My AMI system.
- Printing arrival notices.
- Screening cargo and following all TSA regulations as CCSF Certified.
- Building airline units.
- Ensuring all supplies for the warehouse are on hand.
- Working closely with operations.
- Ensuring all cargo is checked in and staged.
- Cleaning the warehouse.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
