About The Position

This position resides in the Cannabis and Alcohol Regulation Division of Department of Revenue. The Management Analyst provides leadership and direction for division research, analysis, and project management. The incumbent plans and implements division projects and programs to meet the division’s needs, goals and objectives; provides technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders. The position reports to the unit manager of the management analyst unit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics or closely related field
  • Five years of experience in customer relations, distribution, program planning analysis, and/or policy development
  • Two years of supervision and/or management experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of revenue program administration
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations, statutes, and policies
  • Knowledge of public information and education
  • Knowledge of presentation methods and techniques
  • Knowledge of concepts and theories of public administration and communication
  • Knowledge of budgeting
  • Knowledge of business and management principles
  • Knowledge of operation and program planning
  • Knowledge of computers and database management including state and department information systems
  • Skills in research and analysis
  • Skills in accuracy and attention to detail
  • Skills in conflict resolution & customer service
  • Skills in Microsoft programs and other database applications
  • Skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrate self-motivation
  • Follow instructions
  • Provide timely, customer service
  • Handling multiple priorities under deadlines
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
