About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for Senior Project Management Specialist to join our team in Plano, TX. This role oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards. The specialist will direct and provide high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determine scope, and report on planning requests. They will identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning, and refine the business case. Additionally, the role involves developing and executing the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules, and consulting with management on integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques, and tools considered best practices. The Project Management Specialist is recognized as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives, and authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders. They will oversee the deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Project Management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
3+ years of experience leading projects and teams

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience working with international teams
Experience managing Supply Chain projects
Business process modeling/business process improvement experience

Responsibilities

Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry.
Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels.
