About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join their team in Plano, TX. This role involves overseeing, developing, coordinating, integrating, analyzing, and maintaining integrated plans and schedules for complex projects and change-driven activities in accordance with industry standards. The specialist will direct high-level studies and analysis, determine scope, report on findings, and oversee planning requests. Key responsibilities include identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation plans, refining business cases, and executing strategies for integrating plans and schedules. The role also involves consulting with management on best practices in integrated planning, scheduling, change, and baseline management. The Project Management Specialist will serve as the primary contact for establishing stakeholder requirements and project objectives, and will authorize resource commitments by obtaining stakeholder approvals. They will also oversee the deployment of approved recommendations at various organizational levels.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Project Management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
3+ years of experience leading projects and teams

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience working with international teams
Experience managing Supply Chain projects
Business process modeling/business process improvement experience

Responsibilities

Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards.
Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests.
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules.
Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry.
Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels.
