About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join their team in Plano, TX. The role involves overseeing, developing, coordinating, integrating, analyzing, and maintaining integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change-driven activities in accordance with project management industry standards. The specialist will also direct high-level studies and analysis, identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and refine business cases. They will be responsible for developing and executing integration processes and strategies for plans and schedules, and consulting with management on best practices for integrated planning, scheduling, change, and baseline management. The role requires serving as the primary project contact for stakeholder requirements and objectives, authorizing resource commitments, and overseeing the deployment of approved recommendations.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Project Management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
3+ years of experience leading projects and teams

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience working with international teams
Experience managing Supply Chain projects
Business process modeling/business process improvement experience

Responsibilities

Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards.
Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests.
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules.
Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry.
Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels
