About The Position

The PMO Manager establishes, maintains, and improves project management standards, processes, governance, and reporting across the organization. The role ensures projects align with business objectives, are delivered on time and within budget, and follow organizational methodologies and best practices. The position is based in Spring, Texas, and is scheduled Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

At least 5 years of project management experience.
At least 3 years managing project portfolios, PMO functions, or large-scale programs.
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Primavera.
Skills in project portfolio management, program management, budget and financial management, strategic planning, stakeholder management, leadership and team development, process improvement, and data analysis and reporting.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks.
Monitor project portfolios and provide visibility into project status, risks, issues, and resource utilization.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and programs.
Facilitate project prioritization and portfolio management to align with strategic objectives.
Support project managers with tools, training, templates, and best practices.
Manage project reporting for leadership and stakeholders.
Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for project management processes.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource planning activities.
Support change management and organizational transformation efforts.
