About The Position

We are seeking a Project Management Intern to help bring our exciting initiatives to life! You are enthusiastic, creative, analytical, collaborative and goal driven. You seek an opportunity to expand your skills and experiences in execution of project plans for assigned Corporate Portfolio priorities, with a focus on new product development and capacity expansion projects. You will manage strategic initiatives under the direction of a Project Manager. You will facilitate cross-functional teams in the execution of projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, culture, commitment, and goals.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in project management, business management, organizational development, communications or related field, having completed junior year prior to the start of the internship
  • Solid organizational and planning skills are required
  • Must be team-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Must enjoy challenges and be adaptable to changes in project scope and direction
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required. There is no mass/public transit system to/from corporate housing location to company locations

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience with project management practices, including the Innovation Stage-Gate process for new products.
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives across new products, capabilities, process improvements, cost savings, and technology implementations.
  • Assist in managing cross-functional projects by clarifying objectives, scope, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Facilitate project meetings to track progress, resolve issues, maintain accountability, and keep teams aligned with timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and adapt project plans as needed.
  • Communicate project updates through reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Help maintain essential project documentation and support post-project evaluations to improve future processes.
