About The Position

The Project Management Intern will provide regular assistance to project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of ongoing projects. Key responsibilities include tracking project schedules, timelines, and deliverables using various project management tools, preparing meeting agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items. The intern will also coordinate team communications, ensure project documentation is accurate, conduct research to support decision-making, identify and escalate potential risks, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration across departments such as marketing, IT, product, or operations. This role involves participation in team meetings to contribute ideas for improving project efficiency and engaging in ongoing staff meetings, training, and continuing education to maintain relevant business knowledge. This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated team player with an ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and adhere to tight timelines.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Regularly assist project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of ongoing projects.
  • Track and update project schedules, timelines, and deliverables using tools such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, and similar tools.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow-up on action items, as needed.
  • Help coordinate team communications and ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct research and support project-related decision-making processes.
  • Identify potential risks or delays and escalate them to the project manager.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration across departments including marketing, IT, product, or operations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve project efficiency.
  • Participate in on-going staff meetings, training activities and continuing education to maintain relevant understanding and knowledge of business operations, related procedures and processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
