Project Management Intern- Summer 2027
About The Position
Veeam is seeking motivated students for its Summer Internship Program, designed for those entering their final year of university. This program offers meaningful, real-world experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Interns will receive comprehensive onboarding, participate in weekly professional development sessions, networking events, and social activities. The program runs from June to August 2027 and is a 10-week commitment. This specific role is a hybrid position in the Alpharetta, Georgia office, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. The Project Management Intern will work within the Professional Services team, learning how complex customer implementation projects are planned, tracked, and delivered. This role provides exposure to project schedules, resourcing, and customer coordination, serving as a strong foundation for a career in project management without requiring a technical background.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, schedules, and basic PM tools (we'll train you on our specific systems)
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude
- No prior project management or product experience required
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in building and maintaining project schedules and status trackers
- Help prepare project status reports, meeting agendas, and minutes
- Support resource and timeline tracking across multiple active projects
- Coordinate logistics for project kickoffs, check-ins, and reviews
- Help maintain project documentation and templates in our PM tools
- Track action items, risks, and follow-ups, and help ensure they're closed out on time
- Support process-improvement initiatives within the PMO
