Project Management Intern- Summer 2027
About The Position
Veeam is seeking students entering their final year of university for their Summer Internship Program. This program is designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and professional environment. Interns will participate in a comprehensive onboarding experience, weekly professional development sessions, networking events, and social activities. The program runs from June to August 2027 and is a 10-week commitment. This specific role is a hybrid position in the Alpharetta, Georgia office, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. The Project Management Intern will work alongside Professional Services project managers to learn about planning, tracking, and delivering complex customer implementation projects, gaining exposure to project schedules, resourcing, and customer coordination. No technical background is required for this role, making it a great foundation for anyone interested in a project management career.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, schedules, and basic PM tools (we'll train you on our specific systems)
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude
- No prior project management or product experience required
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in building and maintaining project schedules and status trackers
- Help prepare project status reports, meeting agendas, and minutes
- Support resource and timeline tracking across multiple active projects
- Coordinate logistics for project kickoffs, check-ins, and reviews
- Help maintain project documentation and templates in our PM tools
- Track action items, risks, and follow-ups, and help ensure they're closed out on time
- Support process-improvement initiatives within the PMO
