About The Position

The Baker Hughes Internship Program is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree to gain hands-on work experience. Interns will receive first-hand insights into the processes, systems, and practices that ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology. Participants will engage in focused training, team meetings, project work, and presentations, supported by a buddy and manager. The program also aims to familiarize interns with Baker Hughes' Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards, culture, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level degree in Engineering, Technology, other STEM-related or business-related program.
Maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent.
Fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.
Able to relocate for the duration of the internship (locations vary).
Authorized to work in the United States and must maintain work authorization throughout their employment without requiring sponsorship by Baker Hughes, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with project managers and teams.
Maintaining project documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Identifying potential project risks and assisting in developing risk mitigation strategies.
Preparing regular project status reports for project managers and stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and upcoming milestones.
Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained.
