Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our team of professionals as a Project Management / Business Analyst. This position is in Beavercreek, OH. You will support our customers with the business and technical execution of our program. Our program provides broad statutory authority to ensure the timely availability of essential domestic industrial resources to support national defense and homeland security requirements using highly tailored economic incentives. The program is executed through the careful selection and implementation of projects designed to mitigate critical shortfalls, primarily in the domestic defense industry. You will function as a Project Management/Business Analyst for a portfolio of technology commercialization projects conducted in partnership with manufacturers of high-technology items essential to national defense. You will use your strong skills in project management, business analysis, database development, industry research, financial analysis, strategic business planning, verbal/written communications, and the ability to build enduring professional working relationships.

Requirements

Advanced degree (Master of Science/Master of Arts)
Relevant project management or business analysis work experience
Ability to acquire/maintain access to work at our Beavercreek, OH location
Ability to acquire/maintain military base access
Ability to travel domestically, as required; up to 10% travel is anticipated
Must be a US Citizen and able to acquire and maintain a US Government-issued Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

Engineering or technical undergraduate degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology undergraduate degree is strongly preferred)
Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Advanced Business Degree
Certification in Project Management (CAPM or PMP)
3+ years of work experience in either manufacturing or with the DoW procurement community
Familiarity and experience with DoW acquisition processes and Science and Technology planning processes

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain an excellent rapport with AFRL project managers, engineers, scientists, subject matter experts, and industry contractor partners for all assigned DPA Title III projects.
Support the AFRL customers with all aspects of project development including requirements definition, metrics development, proposal evaluation, and the full lifecycle of Department of War (DoW) project execution.
Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned DPA Title III projects.
Actively monitor contractor performance and recommend corrective actions, as needed.
Work with technical personnel and possess the ability to become conversant with diverse manufacturing and technology concepts and terminologies.
Work under the guidance of senior team members on complex assignments.
