Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required, though equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • 3 - 5 years of business or industry work experience is required.
  • Must have 1 - 3 years of experience specifically in project/program leadership or change management.
  • Proven knowledge of change management practices, adult learning theories, and instructional design concepts.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles, methods, and tools outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access.
  • Ability to clearly convey information in written and verbal formats to various groups and effectively facilitate meetings or workshops.
  • Skill in researching and analyzing data to report findings, recommend solutions, and implement innovative strategies.
  • Strong ability to motivate others, adapt leadership styles to varying situations, and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Knowledge of ideologies and tools for quality assurance and the ability to put them into practice to ensure high-standard deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary OCM workstream lead for FDOT IT projects, managing information related to scope, budget, risk, and resources while ensuring integration with other project workstreams.
  • Coordinate OCM tasks and assignments, monitor daily execution, perform quality reviews of work products, and escalate functional or timeline issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate the development of OCM project materials and provide constructive feedback on all deliverables to confirm alignment with preceding and dependent project phases.
  • Ensure all OCM deliverables meet or exceed acceptance criteria, are delivered on time and within budget, and adhere to FDOT’s high-quality standards.
  • Responsible for tracking key project milestones for every project containing an OCM component.
  • Partner with IT project managers, solution architects, and technical teams to assess organizational impacts and develop stakeholder engagement, communication, and training plans aligned with go-live dates.
  • Develop and maintain critical IT-specific OCM artifacts, including change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, readiness assessments, and resistance management plans.
  • Participate in or facilitate OCM workstream meetings, workshops, and implementation activities to identify opportunities for achieving project goals.
