About The Position

Reeves Young is seeking a Project Engineer - Water Resources to provide administrative and technical assistance to the Project Management Team. This role involves managing projects from start to finish, anticipating challenges, and overcoming obstacles. The Project Engineer will control the time, cost, and quality of construction projects, develop and maintain project documentation logs (submittals, shop drawings, RFI logs), and review submittals to ensure compliance with contract documentation and coordination between parties. The position also requires cultivating strong relationships with staff, clients, subcontractors, and business partners, and maintaining project schedules, budgets, workflow, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Experience within the Construction Industry
  • Must possess the ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, subcontracts, and the owner agreement terms and conditions specific to this role
  • Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore/Project Sight, P6 Primavera, MS Project, Viewpoint, Viewpoint Field Work Center, and HCSS
  • Ability to both manage and be part of a team
  • Ability to develop strong business plans
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft products + scheduling software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, workflow and productivity
