Your role at Baxter Support cross-functional teams in the execution of new product development and sustaining engineering projects. Coordinate day-to-day project activities, working with appropriate peers and functions to track progress, support issue resolution, and ensure alignment with established project plans and processes. Contribute to ensuring project work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the required level of product quality and regulatory compliance. Apply project management fundamentals, tools, and methodologies to support delivery of business objectives while continuing to develop project leadership capabilities within a regulated medical device environment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, which may include project coordination, engineering, operations, or other technical roles supporting product development or sustaining activities. Experience may be gained through a combination of full-time industry roles, internships, co-op assignments, or rotational programs.
  • Foundational exposure to project management practices such as scheduling, task coordination, risk tracking, and project documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and/or traditional project management methodologies; experience participating as a team member on Scrum-based projects is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within a regulated product development environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Agile (CSM/PSM) or Project Management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional, multidisciplinary project teams in the execution of new product development or sustaining engineering initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and deliverables in accordance with established processes.
  • Coordinate assigned project activities and track action items, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support task assignment and follow-up with internal and external team members.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum activities such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, as applicable.
  • Support achievement of project quality, cost, and schedule objectives while maintaining compliance with design controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare project status updates and contribute to risk, issue, and change management discussions.
  • Assist with implementation of approved design changes into production and related engineering activities.
