About The Position

Reporting to the Data Center Construction Director, the Data Center Project Manager - Construction will drive the planning, budgeting and risk-management engine behind Fluidstack’s global data centers. Partnering with the Construction and Design teams, you will turn ambitious capacity targets into executable project plans and ensure every stakeholder stays aligned from kick-off to customer handover.

Requirements

  • B.S/B.E/B.A degree in engineering discipline with preferred construction management qualification.
  • 10+ years project-management experience in hyperscale data center, large industrial or infrastructure builds.
  • Proven record of delivering fast-track projects in multiple geographies.
  • Deep knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical scopes procurement workflows and cost controls.
  • Expert user of scheduling (P6/Project), cost (Procore, Ares, Excel) and collaboration (Smartsheet, Confluence) tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to executives and trades alike.
  • Experienced in building and scaling project teams across regions and time zones.
  • Strong leadership presence; able to align diverse technical and commercial stakeholders under shared goals.
  • Travel 50 %+ to active sites or as needed for projects.

Nice To Haves

  • PMI-PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Build integrated schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project) covering design, procurement, construction and commissioning and own execution of the master construction schedule from site-mobilization through substantial completion and turnover.
  • Own project budgets, cash-flow forecasts and change-order governance; report earned-value KPIs weekly.
  • Facilitate phase-gate and 30/60/90% design reviews; maintain RACI matrices and action logs.
  • Manage contract lifecycles - RFP, bid analysis, award, PCO tracking, close-out documentation.
  • Identify critical-path and long-lead risks (transformers, chillers, switchgear) and drive mitigation plans.
  • Act as a single source of truth for internal leadership and external partners; publish clear, concise status reports.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to cross-functional project delivery teams, including project managers, construction managers, and superintendents.
  • Develop staffing plans, oversee performance management, and drive talent development within the project organization.
  • Lead project standups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
